Yes i had spyware removed thanks to Bananafanafo.

My problem is With Aim, the latest version. I can install it just fine and run it, but when it comes time for it to connect. It wont. I gives me a message saying, that it cant connect. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but it didnt work. I have also noticed that Napster, any P2P software does not work.

what might be wrong?

oh and i do have internet access.

ok, I haven't forgotten about you. just seems like something left over from the spyware is still present.

ah... I see. run hijackthis again and delete the followin entry:

O23 - Service: TrueVector Internet Monitor (vsmon) - Zone Labs Inc. - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\vsmon.exe

if you are running zonealarm intentionally still you will need to go into the applications section and set aim and your p2p program as allowed.
