Hi,
jus woundering if anyone nos any sites or anything about designing game engines?? what software what kinda coding mite i need to learn? that sort thing..
i need the works... if you no any sites please dont be scared to share :help:
i got alot of free time and need to fill it in :help: so i figured, i play alot of games why not learn what makes them run.. :-) cheers

Builing your own engine requires many years of schooling. Consider designing games for existing games. One good program for this is FPScreator. This program allows you to design for an existing engine. If you really want to make an engine. Learn Python, DirectX, C++ and maybe Basic.

I added a link to my above post. Note FPS creator hasn't been released totaly so the site has a cheaper beta
