Visual C++ Problem

I am at wits end with this problem. Everytime I try to go into Yahoo Messenger Message Archives, I get this message that says:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
C:\Program Files\Yahoo\Messenger\YPager.exe
Abnormal Program Termination

What do I need to do correct this problem. Other things that I have tried have not worked..............Thanks
