Hi,

Thanks for helping me out

I have a problem with Spy Sherrif. Most recently I have turned off the system restore and rebooted to avoid the program constanly installing itself in my system upon reboot.

I have used Hijack this to create a log and appreciate your assistance.. I like other are receiving the message "system has stopped due to serious malfunction"

Hi Kirsty,

I am pretty sure that it wasnt run in Safe Mode, but I have run it again and here is the log.

Dont seem to be having the Spy Sherrif problem anymore but I do still have a permanent desktop message indicating that my system has stopped and that I need to remove all spyware.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
