best amd processor uner $600

What is the best processor I can get that is less then $600. Also would it be worth spending $800 on the fx-55 or going with a dual processor. I plan to do mostly gaming

Probably the san deigo core cpu which ever you can afford you should be able to get a 4000+ model for that money i think.
