reduce pdf file size?

I haveeen search the web and can not find any good programs to reduce a pdf files size. So far all of the demo versions that I have tried hardly reduces the file size. does anyone know of any good programs?

On PDFs a lot of the file size is in the form of images which are already compressed, so you may not have much luck. You could try WinRaR which has several degrees of compression. You should know that "normal" compression for WinRaR and WinZip only compresses the text files which can be decompressed without corrupting them.

Acctually what i am looking for is a program that immitates adobe acrobat's option to "reduce file size". Do you know of any?
