Hi Guys,

I am receiving Error 633 when I try to connect to my dial up ISP.
The error response says the modem is already in use or is not configured properly.

I have not installed any new programs or applications and have restarted my notebook many times but to no avail am I able to get a dial tone.

I also uninstalled the modem and its drivers, rebooted but still nothing.

If anyone can please provide any help or assistance it would be very much appreciated.

Any electrical storms in your area recently? Many modems are zapped every year by lightning. Doesn't take much. :tazz:
