I have one hard drive with windows XP set up and have been using it for quite awhile, I'm out of room and I grabbed a new one of the exact same model. I plugged them in as master/slave and set the jumpers up prefectly. When i turn it on and go into bios its there but when i go into my computer it onyl shows drive c. Do i have to do anything special to make it work?

Howdy:

Yep.. you have to partition and format it..

You can do that through Disk management located in Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management..
