I have just recently installed AVG antivirus into my computer and now my computer always goes to a blue screen and says either:

STOP:0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0xEB91071B, 0x00000001, 0x58EB81B1) KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

or sometimes:

STOP: 0x0000050(0xD8EB81B1, 0x00000001, 0xEB91071B, 0x00000000) PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

I've read a few forums and some people are saying that this can happen when you install AVG while also having another antivirus software on your computer. They say to run in safe mode and uninstall one of the antivirus programs, but I am unable to even log in under safe mode. It always freezes when trying to load it. Now I am forced to use a friend's computer to write this message. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

you could try to boot from Win 2000 CD and do a repair on your installation.
