Hi

I have tried to do as many of the tasks as possible to remove the problems I have. Adaware has removed most items and then comes up with a list of files it can't delete and do I want to remove them at next start up. I say yes, it deletes more stuff and as soon as I connect to the internet the computer starts downloading more. I can't post a hijack this log as everytime I scan and try to save the file norton pops up and says hijack this is a virus and I then a message pops up denying access to the hijack this file I have just created.

I think Norton has been compromised by the virus. I can't disable it. Should I try uninstalling Norton or would this make things worse? I haven't tried running the online virus scans yet as I thought as Norton was comprimised this may not work.

When I am downloading files the computer screen flickers constantly, but it is okay when I am just looking on the net.

Would I best reinstalling everything?

Thanks
