The main computer on my network has gone down with what appears to be many virus problems. Among these is the inability to access the internet anymore, along with the inability to open control panel or my computer in XP. When I phoned LinkSys regarding the internet connection, they asked me to open control panel, which I cannot do because the machine is so infected. Luckily I've got another computer on the network that can connect to the internet, so I've transferred a copy of the HiJackThis log over from the heavily infected machine to this one. Dr. Watson's postmortem debugger comes up whenever we try to open control panel, so I did some research on this, which has led me to believe that I've got an AceBot virus. I tried following some advice from other resources online without any success at all. I've followed the instructions listed prior to posting a hijackthis log and am currently stuck, unable to use the machine for much. It is imperative that we get this computer up and connected to the internet soon because we depend on it for our daily business operations. Any help is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance.
