I am trying to download adobe reader and it will not download. I get this message right here:
This file does not have a program associated with if for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel
last error: 1155
Unable to launch AOM file. Create process return code: 12510788
:tazz:
What do I do?

This may be why Adobe developed a downloader for the Reader. You might want to try using the downloader. You don't need to download it, just open and install it on your system first. Then it will download the installation file.

Okay believe it or not I had the same issue. I could not for the life of me figure out what it was, so I tried a diffrent approach. I had Adobe Reader 7.0 installed on another pc of mine, so I burned it to disc. Then I installed the program from the set-up files on the disc. It worked and it runs fine, no problems since. It seems that you and I were the only people in all the internet with this issue so I became a member and posted this just for you! :tazz:

Works fine for most people and it is given away on disk with most pc magazines that offer demo/software disks.

Just got this same error today on a fresh install of XP. Maybe you two aren't the only ones :tazz:

You'd think they'd have something as simple as adobe reader figured out by now. This is the web installer. Any idea where I can get the full installer?

http://www.download....8-10000062.html first place to look for everything you need. Or get it off a disk its free with so many peices of software you get, surprising how often you will find adobe included with games.

Hey,
Go to adobe FTP and get the file directly without the stupid DLM,
ftp://ftp.adobe.com

the file located at:
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/...70_enu_full.exe
