I have a Toshiba laptop satelitte cdt 335.Has a credit card modem (xircom) w/ telephone dongle. Have a pc card for wireless internet (linksys). When traveling w/ laptop I was unable to use dsl because I have no ethernet connection and I wondered if they make an adaptor I could use for this?

Any credit card ethernet adapter should work. Xircom (Intel) is a very popular and recommended. You can just swap the modem and ethernet adapter depending on your available connection.
