[bIZwiZ83]

everytime I start up, Norton Antivirus brings up a virus notification and says that trojan.desktophijack.b was automaticall deleted. It is annoying.The fix on the website tells me to delete certain registry values, but those values are non-existent. Here is the report from Hijack this:

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

Thanks for information. The Virus appears to be gone for good. Now I have an OS question though. Once I suceeded in removing the trojan, everytime I boot it the system brings up a stop error that states that it cannot find install32m.exe. If I recall correctly that has something to do with the shell, or something of the sort. What can I do to stop that from happening everytime I start up. Thanks for everything. You are geniuses....or geeks.....or both....
