Getting the following "Illegal Operation" message frequently when using Internet Explorer--BUDDY caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 000:3465696b. Registers: ...................... Windows 98 OS

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any programs that have "BUDDY" in the filename? Just a guess, but it would seem that either a program or running process is creating a memory error. If you have the above program, try re-installing it. If not, I would suggest running a program like Spybot Search & Destroy to check for Malware as there are several Malware programs with "Buddy" in their respective names.

"O",

Thanks a bunch. I tried both suggestions. The Spybot S & D fixed it. I had to run it 4 or 5 times because the program kept freezing, but it eventually got everything.

Thanks again.

Have a great day!
