Hi,

My computer is acting rather weird, so i wanted to install windows XP. So I could start of with nothing, but I don't have an XP CD or something. Only a Floppy..... and when I let the floppy reinstal windows it sais there was a write error/there was not enough disk space...

What to do?

how are you trying to re-install windows??
Windows XP can't be loaded from a floppy disk or coppied into it.

I always use a floppy disk with:

"Recovery Disk"

on it. Then Everything is back to normal, but now it doesn't work?!

if you want to re-install windows then just op the Cd into your CD-ROM and boot from it. You will be able to format your hard disk and install windows from your CD instead of using your floppy disks.
Your recovery disks doesn't re-install windows but it just repairs the installation on your machine.

If you want to start fresh, you will need a real XP cd, not a "recovery" floppy or cd.

Howdy:

You go to the nearest computer/software store and you buy it.. You can usually get a decent price at a Wal-Mart or somewhere similiar to that!!
