Hi guys am new here i have just installed a new hardrive in my laptop installed xp fine got all the updates. I then couldnt get past 16 resolution so i tried to adjust it in display no good. So then did something in the advance mode and cant get any display once windows has loaded tried another monitor and does the same thing any clues? Nick

Try booting into safe mode (f8 during boot up). This will load the default video driver and settings. You probably pushed your video card outside of its operating range when you did that last tweak. See if you can change it back in safe mode.

Thanks i have just fixed it loaded drivers from original Acer start up disk both sound and video and its now workin great Thanks Nick
