i looked around in this forum and i cant find anything like this so i thought id post. When i try and install brothers in arms i get the following error

"Z:\MYDOCU~1\MYDOWN~1\_GIOCO~1\Setup.exe
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:0543 IP:01e6 OP:fe e9 7b e4 7b Choose "close" to terminate the application.

the title of the pop up window is "16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem"

clicking both close and ignore does nothing.

i have googled this and this seems to happen alot, there were no solutions however.

Any ideas would be helpful.

(i hope this game is worth the trouble)

I think it means that you have a 16 bit system but you need a 32 or 64 bit system to run the application.
