Hi clinton and Welcome to GeekstoGo!

How does this PC connect to the Internet and is it Networked?

Lets see if this wont help ya out!

Reboot into SAFE MODE(Tap F8 when restarting)
Here is a link on how to boot into Safe Mode:
http://service1.syma...src=sec_doc_nam

After restarting in Safe Mode,Configure Windows to Show All Hidden Files and Folders Here is a link to help with that:
http://www.bleepingc...showtutorial=62

Locate and Delete

C:\WINDOWS\ceres.dll<< File Only!

C:\windows\system32\zdablpu.exe<< File Only!

Open HijackThis and put a check by these but DO NOT hit the Fix Checked button yet!

O2 - BHO: CeresObj Class - {00000049-8F91-4D9C-9573-F016E7626484} - C:\WINDOWS\ceres.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [zdablpu] c:\windows\system32\zdablpu.exe

Now Make sure ALL WINDOWS and BROWSERS are CLOSED and hit the Fix Checked Button!!

Run MSCONFIG and enable everything in the startup area. To get to MSCONFIG, click on Start -> Run -> type in MSCONFIG -> click OK!

Under the "General" Tab
Make Sure Normal Startup is Checked!!

Click Apply>>OK>>Follow the Prompts to Restart!!

Restart Normal and have the PC Scanned here:
Panda Active Scan

You will need to be using Internet Explorer for the Scan to work!

Save the Report it generates

Post back with a fresh HijackThis log and the report from Panda!

OK...Lets remove the files we know are bad!

As for e donkey,I dont think is very well thought of anywhere!

Locate and Delete the following

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rtneg3.dll<< File

C:\WINDOWS\inf\ceres.inf<< File

C:\WINDOWS\Bbstore\DSS<< Folder

D:\DESKTOP\cms Lites\gUPPy<< Folder!

If any of these wont remove in Normal Mode, try Safe Mode!

The entry in your HijackThis log that bothers me is this one

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer =

Dont think I have ever seen that one before and is why I asked how the PC Connects!

That may or may not be related to the ADSL?

Download WinPFind:
http://www.bleepingc...es/winpfind.php

Right Click the Zip Folder and Select "Extract All"

Don't use it yet!

Restart in Safe Mode

Doubleclick WinPFind.exe and Click "Start Scan"

It will scan the entire System, so please be patient!

Once the Scan is Complete-> Click "Copy to Clipboard" and Copy&Paste those Results to notepad and place them in the next post!

Hi There

I have done as you instructed. Sorry it took so long. Here is the WinPFind log:

WARNING: not all files found by this scanner are bad. Consult with a knowledgable person before proceeding.

If you see a message in the titlebar saying "not responding" you can ignore it. Windows is throwing this message up even though the program is still running. As long as the hard disk is working then the program is running.

Well that doesnt look bad at all!

You can delete this
C:\WINDOWS\abiuninst.htm

The only others I see that could use some investigation

6/19/2005 C:\WINDOWS\hpcfgjmp.zpi

6/16/2005 C:\WINDOWS\system32\ezirioMeD2

I imagine they are OK but it never hurts to look!

A couple of things to look at that can help the PC out a bit

SpywareBlaster:
http://www.javacools...areblaster.html
Update Immediatly!

CCleaner:
http://www.filehippo...d_ccleaner.html
This is to help keep those Temporary Files Cleaned Up!

CleanUp! 4.0:
