When I open a new window in IE, it opens a copy of the current window that I am in. If I am at CNN.com, it will bring up another window with CNN.com. I don’t want it to work that way. If I am at CNN.com and I click “New > Window”, I want it to open a new window with my default home page.

On most NON-IE browsers, you can set a preference for this. Can I set a preference for this in IE or is there some sort of “work around” to get it to do this?

I am not aware of how to do this in IE. Im thinking it would probably require a registry hack. Someone else will probably know more.
