Hello,

i have an lg MP3 PLAYER which i am unable to install in xp prof. edition. XP detects it but can't install it . Prior to XP i have used 2000 and 98 and they never gave such problem.

the drivers CD of mp3 player has mentioned its driver for 98 and 2000 but not XP.
But the thing is that the CD was never required for installation in 98 or 2000. it was just required for a software called "MP3 Explorer" and the CD has no contents other then the software i mentioned. the software is used to transfer mp3 files from pc to player.

I have tried to get new versions of software from LG website but they did not work.

Pls help or else i'll have to reinstall 2000 or 98.
