Building New computer

HI,

I am trying to build my first computer. I have assembled the gigabyte mother board, inserted the ,amd atholon 3000xp cpu, connected the 350 watt power, and iserted a radeon 7500 pci video card,cpu cooling and case cooling installed. I have plugged all those pesky little power on button and front panell wires.(why can`t they just include multi plugs in the kits). No ram is installed yet, waiting for it to arrive.

When i power up , it runs all fans, beeps over an over, and i get no video. Is this normal with no ram, or a bigger problem ? ( the manufactureer has not respoded to request for support)
