Sorry if this is not the right forum to post this in. If not, mods will you move it accordingly :tazz:

So what happened was I tried to upgrade my Windows XP on my desktop computer without formatting the machine. The installation went relatively smoothly (the only problem was it stopped and said it couldn't find file usbehci.sys which I couldn't find myself so I just clicked cancel and the installation continued without a problem)

After the installation completed, the computer restarted and it loaded up the blue screen of death. I restarted several times and tried all the available options (start in normal mode, start in safe mode with command prompt, start in safe mode with networking, start using previous available working settings) all of them resulted in the blue screen.

I don't know what to do now. Is there a way for me to access command prompt and format and reinstall windows?

What is there left for me to do? Or is the copmuter as good as useless now?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!
