I have a laptop which has Windows NT on it, and I cannot access the bios to reformat it and install new OS.
Is there any specific key sequence that I need to input to rectify this?

restart your computer and when the first screen appears it will tell you what key to hit ... to enter setup... usually delete or f2...... that will get you to your bios....be careful in there though, you can cause big problems.
