I've got BF2, unfortunetly i also have win 2000, they arn't working to well together....sometimes i get through and my game runs fine...other times , (witch is 99% of the time, it's only worked twice out of 25 attempts.) i try to log in as my online profile, but it says an socket error, this is the full version of BF2, not the demo, and i have no other problems with the net or anything...how do i fix this socket error!! i don't even know what a socket is!! lol.

it does say on the game windows xp (32 bit) reguired and you said your runnin windows 2000 so thats your problem

Its a good thing XP is only like $100. Thats not too pricey considering a game is half that and a game has much less use than an entire OS. But wait theres more. Its $100 for the Full I think the pgrade now is like $60.
