Whenever I try to open QuickPayroll, I get a message saying "You have recently downloaded a QuickPayroll software update. This update must be installed before you can use any payroll features. Please exit QuickPayroll to install the update." Upon quitting, I click "Yes" to "You recently downloaded a QuickPayroll update. Can we install this update now?", At which point I get a 16 bit Windows Subsystem error saying "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." In the meantime, I can't pay my employees, etc - help pls!
