been trying to network with another computer in my home, i get a message up saying device is unplugged and to connect it but the cables are plugged in, this pc is the host running ME, the other is running XP..could that be the problem? also my pc is running slow at times and then it can disconnect itself from the internet, i play games at msn gaming zones and when i enter a room it keeps disconnecting from the zone so not too sure what is happening there, i have tried their troubleshoots but nothing seems to work....so as u can see i have more than 1 problem here, can anyone assist with any of these problems...i have my hijack log here incase its something inside my system that is causing these problems....

How are you trying to network the two PCs together? Do you have a cable that runs from one directly to the other? Or are you using a hub, or a switch, or a broadband router? Also, did the network ever work, even just for a few minutes?

Howdy:

You are using a crossover cable right?? An ordinary Cat5 cable won't work for a DCC connection!!
