So...I noticed my computer came down with a problem yesterday and I have tried a bunch of things as follows.

Most of the things I tried were simply running a search for the known viruses with Start>Search and again in regedit...I deleted what I could find. I know its kind of unorthodox and crude and I probably missed something. Anyway, here's what I have and have not done:

I had the desktop screen with the message saying:
"fatal error in IE has occured at 0028:c0011e36 in VXD VMM <01> + 00010e36 . Error was caused by Trojan-Spy.HTML.Smitfraud.c"

I searched and deleted some files manually:
ASProtect
AntiVirusGold
PSGuard
popuper.exe
uninstIU.exe
ole32vbs.exe
screen.html <-- I thought this would have done the trick
hookdump.exe
intel32
msole32

After all that, the only file I found and couldn't get rid of was a folder called ShudderLTD containing PSGuard containing PSGuard and then License:

ShudderLTD>PSGuard>PSGuard>Licence

When I click to delete, the problem was in the License folder with an error saying:
"Can't open License: Error while opening key."

As of now I still have a problem with my wallpaper. I have instead a whitish/greyish background instead of the normal wallpaper. I also noticed that I don't have all the tabs in Properties from the Desktop.
I just have Screen Saver and Settings

I have ran a full scan with Ad-aware, CleanUp!, Ewido, Spybot S&D, CWShredder and still it did not solve this background issue.
i don't know what else to do but to come to u guys..

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Here's my HJT log-file:
