After cleaning up my system with Hijackthis Jonnyrotten suggested that i try a system repair with cd. While doing this i still had to reboot a few times just to get to windows start up. I got a blue screen with message reading shutting down to prevent damage..... BAD_POOL_CALLER and below it was this number
STOP: 0X000000C2 (0X00000007, 0x00000CD4, 0X00000000, 0X81222748)
I rebooted a couple of times and made it to the f8 (i agree) screen and after pressing the f8 it rebooted on its own. Please HELP

since my last topic entry i have managed to do a full windows xp repair with only a few glitches. After i disconnected my internet cable it let me go through the proccess.....hmmmm ..strange i thought. I had to reboot a couple of times to get it up though. Will keep you posted on its performance...thanks for the help so far... this site is very helpful and very appreciated by us who are computer challenged..
