I reinstalled XP on a system but the dvd player and USB controller did not install. I have ghost cd's of the original install. If I run that, will it recognize the partitions that I have created since the original install?

only if you created them as a partion... ie ghost, image partion to image. if you just did a drive image then you will wipe out everything when you attempt to image. if you just want the drivers just use ghost explorer, browse to the image and restore the drivers you need.
