i have no sound!

just reformatted and got home edition, i probably need a driver or something cause i have onboard sound, but i dont know where to get the driver seeing as i lost the disk and etc. I probably need lots of drivers but if anyone can help me my mother board is a msi kt6 delta ms 6590 v2.

I would assume you are missing the audio driver, go into your device manager in "my computer" and look for any yellow question marks to be sure.

If you are missing it, you might try Googling your motherboard to see if you can locate the driver you need.

you should be all to get all the drivers you need from the MSI site

You should download all the drivers for your MB seeing that you formated.

Where he had formatted his hard drive he should download all the drivers for his MB not just the sound driver that why I gave him the link for all the MSI drivers not just the one for his sound. Please read the post a little closer so the member gets all the things they need not just one.

thanks tazz, but this is where my problem is, i dont knw which drivers to download! None say my motherboard by them.

Here is what we can do download and run lavalys CLICK HERE It will tell us what hardware is on your system post back with the hardware page it gaves you and we can list the drivers you need to download from the MSI.

i also just noticed that i cant put my comp in standby, is this becuase i dont have the drivers aswell?
