Welcome singinmatt13 <_<!

You are receiving "messenger spam". "Messenger spam" is sent through a Windows "service" to deliver advertising. Don't worry, many people get this problem. Here is the easiest way to end your trouble:

1. Click "Start", then go to "Run"

2. Type "services.msc", then press enter (Don't be intimitated, I know there's a lot of stuff there)

3. Go down and right-click on "Messenger"

4. Go to "Properties" (The "Messenger Properties" box will pop-up)

5. Under "Service Status", click "Stop"

6. Then under "Startup Type", choose "Disabled"

7. Press OK and the "messenger spam" will be gone :D!

Please feel free to edit your original post, or add as many replies as you'd like. :D

The only "double posting" we frown on is posting the same question more than once, or posting the same question in more than one category. It just gets too confusing. <_<
