I have installed Windows XP MCE on my primary hard drive and began to fill it up with programs and other personal data.
Now i find when i want to play a high end game the system is extreamly slow maby because i have anti virus and spyware protections on.
Never the less i wanted to install a second hardrive (30GB WD300AB) with Windows XP Home for running high end games only but i only have the IDE Rade controller left.
I have made the drive recognizable in the XP MCE OS but i cant get VT8237 to detect my WD.
I have enabled all raid options in my bios (Using A8V Deluxe)
I tryed using VIA_RAID_V430G driver for windows installer but there is still only 1 hard drive on the list to install the OS to.
I feel this operation would take off if i could guest create an array for the WD300AB.

Please help!!!
