:tazz: ;)

Hello,

I was working on an excel file... saved it and when i try to reopen it, It just comes up as a blank grey screen with the toolbar on the top.

Other excel files stored on the same desktop open fine. I am using Office 2000 and windows XP.

This was a really important file, with about 3 days of work. ANY HELP AND ADVISE WILL BE APPRECIATED.

THANKYOU.

Hi,

Welcome to GeeksToGo :)

Try just loading Excel, don't click on a saved file use the normal short-cut. Then do File > Open and find the file you were working on. Does that now load the file.

It would be strange if it was a program error as the others are still opening correctly.

same problem. other files open. I tried opening excel and then opening file, but still blank. I sent it as an attachment and went to my SENT box and tried to open by clicking--still blank and then asked original sender to send again. This time it is blank although the first time it opened.
