I have a pc that starts up with no beeps the cpu fan runs but there no pictuer checked the monitor ,checked the ram, checked all the pci cards, checked the hard drive, disconected the cd drive disconected the hard drive .....what else can i do, could it be the cpu or motherboard ??

You could remove the ram, then boot. If there are no beep codes (and you know your system speaker is working!!) then the motherboard is bad.
