Im having a slighlt problem with my hard drive. Its only a 16 gig drive but it says i only have 3 gig left which makes no sense at all. There isnt much on there, just Windows and a few programs. The two of those combined amounted to around 6 gig. A bit of simple math tells you that 16 - 6 gig = 10 gig NOT 3!

So where has this exta space gone?? Ive checked the drive for errors, emptied the recycle bin and run the disk cleanup to no avail. How do i get my 7 gig back!?!

Probably temp files, and system restore files. Run disk cleanup. Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup.
