due to an earlier bug in Mozilla's Firefox I stopped using it for some time and reluctantly began using IE

well, not long after I was inundated with all sorts of spyware, trust me, I never opened any attachments, I merely visited a site which was highjacked by ezula installing icons to my desktop..and it all went downhill from there!

needless to say it made my life a living [bleep], cost me a lot of money, I took my computer to a local computer tech who told me he couldnt find any spyware, after charging me for his time, he adviced that the only solution would be to re-install my OP. I also lost valuable time and money from my business.

desperate, searching for fixes on the web, I stumbled upon this site, read through and followed instructions on what to do before posting my first HijackThis log

therock247uk responded in a very short amount of time and did not forget about me. I was so insecure that I would not be able to understand or follow technical instructions but thanks to therock247uk's patient instructions I was! he/she informed me that my computer was infected with the latest version of VX2 and walked me through till I was showing a clean bill of health

therock247uk is solid gold and so is this website

Thanks so much, once again!

It has now been 3 days and I have had no crashes, no pop ups and all my scans are coming up clean!
grateful! :tazz:
