I downloaded a few game demos and "saved to disk" and when i click to delete them they say: "Cannot delete...there has been a sharing violation, the source or destination file may be in use." How can I delete these items? HELP! :tazz:

Well, my next step would be to check the running processes and see what's in there.. Anything to do with those programs would be stopped and then dumped..

:tazz: Before you do that, have you done a virus and spyware scan? ;)

If so, and thing there is fixed or done, then yes post a hijack this log.

I'm not 100% sure if you can post it in here or in the malware furom.

(can one of the stuff or mod correct me here if I am incorrect please?)

Hello Tony_1983! While we appreciate the fact that you want to help out, we do not allow non-Staff Members to post help on the boards. There are too many things that could go wrong, and too many Malwares that can make themselves look "legitimate". Many times, there are special tools and fixes that need to be used, and our Staff Members are trained to recognize and clean these infections.

If you are interested in training to become a Staff Member, please post Here

Thank you for your cooperation!

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
