Is the drive recognised correctly in the bios? If not, can you tell us the make/model of your motherboard please?

Thanks for the PM, Jones08. I do need to know whether or not the bios is recognising the drive.
Most bios's can be accessed by pressing the DEL key repeatedly a few seconds after powering the system on. If DEL doesn't work, try one of the following keys : F1, F2, F10
Can you also tell me whether the drive is Serial ATA or standard IDE?
Also, is your computer a big brand name one, such as Dell or Compaq, or was it custom built etc?
