Arse! My XP pc won't boot :-(

It gets as far as asking whether you want to boot into safe mode, normal etc but no matter which option I try it simply reboots and the cycle continues again

And sods law I don't have a boot floppy and I leant my cd to someone at work toady

Any suggestions on what to try?

Sounds like corruption of the registry hive. You've tried using "last known good configuration"?

First thing I'd try is a repair install of XP: http://www.geekstogo...p?showtopic=138

You'll need your XP installation CD. <_<

That's kinda what i thought too.... Last known... does thge same as all the other options. Guess it'll have to wait until tomorrow when I can get the cd back off the person I leant it too :D
