Hey People,

I just installed this software called Acronis Privcy Expert.

My other two anti-spyware software says that my system is clean, then this software says that there is some things there.

Can someone please tell me if the following should be removed:

keep in mind that I use Limewire for downloading music to.

HKLM\System\CurrentControl\Services\VxD\JAVASUP|Start

HKLM\Software\Classes\magnet

HKEY_CLASS_ROOT\magnet

HKLM\Software\magnet

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\D:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache|C:\Windows\system32\control.exe

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\searchsquire.com

HKLM\software\classes\.vnc

I jsut need to know this before I do anything. Cause it does not back up as far as I know and I completly disabled system restore.

First time I heard of this program, but it's from a known company. Shocked to hear that it doesn't do backups though. A good program always saves a backup first.

OK, I think all of them can go except these (keep them):

HKLM\System\CurrentControl\Services\VxD\JAVASUP|Start
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\D:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache|C:\Windows\system32\control.exe
HKLM\software\classes\.vnc

What are the other two antispyware programs you ran (Ad-aware and Spybot perhaps)? I suggest giving me a HijackThis log just to be safe.

Do you have Kazaa installed by any chance?

I have already removed HKLM\software\classes\.vnc cause I thought it was for VNC and i used to have that.

And the others I think that I wiped as well, and I system restore completly turned off.

No I use Lime wire

I use Spybot, ad-ware se and Acronis Privacy Expert Suite

If you want, post your HijackThis log for me to review. Otherwise, just reply back that you are ok now and I will close this thread.

From what I found out about that DCBC2A71-70D8-4DAN-EHR8-E0D61DEA3FDF file, it's a history file (file and playlist) for Windows Media Player. You may delete it if you wish.
