I know this should not be a new topic but I got real confused on where to put the information so I apologize in advance.

I have Windows 98 and PS Guard showed up on my computer all of a sudden and the desktop blinks repeatedly and an "Internet Explorer cannot find your active desktop HTML file" error message keeps repeating. I cannot turn off the desktop by any conventional means, cannot delete the PS Guard program and it seems as if they want me to sign up for their program to get rid of a problem they created. Incredible. Can anyone help? Thanks
