hitman 1 problems

i bought hitman and it wouldnt autoplay so i opened my cd drive and installed it manually and i installed it and trhen it loads up but after about 5 seconds i get the message "windows has encountered a problem and needs to close" and it doesnt work

yes it does work with xp.

have you updated with the latest patch?
