I attempted to make a backup copy of my latest acquisition CM4, using Sonic Record Now 6. I dont know if I have done something incorrectly or if the game just wont copy.

I used the Burn Exact Copy feature, and in examining the copied disc, everythign seems to be good. Then i installed CM$ on another pc (Legal? I hope) just to check it. It would install, desktop short and all, but would not open/run.

Do you need special software or am idoing something wrong?

The CD likely has some sort of copy protection. It's legal to make a backup copy for personal use, and most games TOS allow it to be installed on two systems. However, discussion of defeating copy protection is against the Terms of Use of this site.
