Hi ...lolz all of a sudden my taskbar dissappeazrs on me..i know that its ther but when eva i try to make it bigger(the twoarrow mouse thing)..NOTHING HAPPENS...PLEASE HELP

its minimized to the max and wont go back


Edit: I just added a toolbar on the taskbar and poof it poped up...but its really messed up...the toolbar i added was the msn desktop search one and now its stuck in that area....so i cant see any of my minimized programs....the msn messenger icon to the right(i underlined it with black) has a weird icon pic....and its just weiiiiiird. ive added a pic....please help

Try this.

Right click on your taskbar, click on properties.
If checked (uncheck) Auto hide the taskbar, click apply and ok.

Its worth a try.

lolz..dont u think that thats the first thing i tried..:tazz:..but thanx 4 the suggestion.;)...wholly this probs buggin me...anything i minimize i haf to go to the task manager and then switch to that program...please help me out

Hm.. Seems like its unlocked, try moving the dotted line part of the msn thing over to the right, and that might do it, not sure though.

Also, you can press alt+tab to switch programs easier.

Have you tried adjusting the screen position on your monitor?

the problem is that the taskbar is their.but its all messed up..if any of the extra toolbars are removed..then the taskbar is gone...also u cant move the extra toolbars anywhere in the main taskbar.Therefore u cannot see any of the minimized programs u run in the main taskbar....srry if i wasnt clear in ma explanation of teh problem..ma bad

Hello again scarlet_spider...

Have you tried creating a new user account? I've been surfing some knowledge bases for this problem and corrupt user account settings keeps popping up. Give that a try and let me know if it changes anything. Make sure to give the new account the Admin permissions.
