Unzip the file to your dekstop, and click on HaxDoorFix.bat

Please open HiJackThis and scan your computer. Place a check mark next to the following entries:

O20 - Winlogon Notify: tcpG4T - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\tcpG4T.dll


Close all windows and programs, then press Fix Checked.

Reboot your computer and post a new HiJackThis log for me to look at.

Ok, Lets try it this way =)

1) Please download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.

2) Then please reboot into Safe Mode by restarting your computer and pressing F8 as your computer is booting up. Then select the Safe Mode option.

3) Once in Safe Mode, please run Killbox.

4) Select "Delete on Reboot".

5) Open the text file with these instructions in it, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\tcpG4T.dll
6) Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".

7) Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again..

Let the system reboot.

Ohh this looks promising!

Open HiJackThis and scan your computer. Place a check mark next to the following:

O20 - Winlogon Notify: tcpG4T - tcpG4T.dll (file missing)


Then press Fix Checked

Close HiJackThis and reboot your computer.

Than post a new HiJackThis log. :tazz:

We have successfully gotten rid of the HaxDoor Trojan!

With that, your HiJackThis log is clean!

Please play around with your computer for 2 days and make sure that you do not notice anything suspicious. After two days, please change all of your passwords, as HaxDoor is a passwork stealer. if you notice anything suspicious on your computer, please let me know immediately :)


The following is a list of tools and utilities that I like to suggest to people. This list is full of great tools and utilities to help you understand how you got infected and how to keep from getting infected again.
  • Spybot Search & Destroy - Uber powerful tool which can search and annhilate nasties that make it onto your system. Now with an Immunize section that will help prevent future infections.
  • AdAware - Another very powerful tool which searches and kills nasties that infect your system. AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy compliment each other very well.
  • SpywareBlaster - Great prevention tool to keep nasties from installing on your system.
  • SpywareGuard - Works as a Spyware "Shield" to protect your computer from getting malware in the first place.
  • IE-SpyAd - puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
  • CleanUP! - Cleans temporary files from IE and Windows, empties the recycle bin and more. Great tool to help speed up your computer and knock out those nasties that like to reside in the temp folders.
  • Windows Updates - It is very important to make sure that both Internet Explorer and Windows are kept current with the latest critical security patches from Microsoft. To do this just start Internet Explorer and select Tools > Windows Update, and follow the online instructions from there.
  • Google Toolbar - Free google toolbar that allows you to use the powerful Google search engine from the bar, but also blocks pop up windows.

1) Please download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.

2) Then please reboot into Safe Mode by restarting your computer and pressing F8 as your computer is booting up. Then select the Safe Mode option.

3) Once in Safe Mode, please run Killbox.

4) Select "Delete on Reboot".

5) Open the text file with these instructions in it, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\BRIAN LEUNG\FAVORITES\SPORTS\Auto racing.url
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\BRIAN LEUNG\FAVORITES\Gambling

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again..

Let the system reboot.

Then run Panda Scan again. Im looking to the AV thing.

ahhh. Please help. Before running killbox and removing the above, somehow the file wininit.dll got deleted from my computer. I don't know how. But now I can't even access the internet on my computer and all other sorts of programs are unable to run.

How can I fix this??

Hello, we are going to run System File Checker, to make sure all of your protected files are not corrupt. The scan will automatically replace any corrupt files that it finds.

Click Start
Select Run
At the prompt type sfc /scannow Please note that there is a single space between sfc and /scannow.

Typing this will start the program, and a box should appear telling you how much longer the process should take.

Once the scan is complete:

Check your Windows Updates! After using the File Protection Service, you might need to reapply some updates.

Please reboot, and let me know if anything has changed.
