How to disable a firewall .. Router

Router hardware firewalls can't be disabled - that's why they are superior to software firewalls because malicious programs, remote users etc. can't disable them. If you want to access internet or a network without a firewall (why??) you need to swap the router for a regular ADSL modem (no router).
