hphipm09.exe and hpha3mon problem

I am receiving error messages on my Windows XP system that hphipm09.exe cannot be found and hpha3mon has encountered a problem. I have tried uninstalling and installing the HP Photosmart 1115 printer. It will work initially; however, when I shutdown and restart the PC the problem begins all over again.
