It sounds like a display problem, is your video card compatible with what the game suggests?

If so, then do you have the latest drivers for your video card?

The only other thing I could suggest is contact the makers of the game. THey probably have a support line, and they could provide some troubleshooting.

Does it give a list of the supported video cards? I am not too familiar with games but I know that even though the card may meet the minimum requirement, it may not be supporting in the game. The support ppl for the game should be able to tell you this. Since its a fairly new game( i think), this could be the problem.
I know this was a problem for Splinter Cell 2, and there were many angry ppl because they saw the minimum requirement of 64mb video card, and thought they were ok, but then their video card was not supported in the game, and they would have the same problem as you are having where the game would just return them back to windows.

If you can't contact them, post your video card info and i will see if i can find out if it is supported by the game.
