About 3-4 weeks ago, all of my IE sessions started locking up after loading parts of web sites. It doesn't matter which site - I'll only get sections of the page down and it locks up. If I refresh the screen, I may get more content down on each refresh.

I can't download (ftp) anythign to my machine any more - it just hangs. I had to download all of your suggested freeware to another machine and put it on a CD to run it on my home machine.

I started using Firefox (worked a little better than IE) but it also is having problems.

Some other details:

- AOL 9.0 (Doesn't work any more)
- Cable modem
- Zone Alarm
- McAffee Virus

Sorry for the delay in replying..your log looks clean..nothing is showing there..

It sounds like there might be an issue with your firewall..try if the problem persists when you disable the firewall..from time to time I've heard people sometimes having problems with Zonealarm installed..if that's the case you may want to pick another one like Sygate or Kerio..
